An Ordinance to amend the Botany/Mascot/Eastlakes Variation of Trusts Ordinance 1994.

Preamble

Whereas the Botany/Mascot/Eastlakes Variation of Trusts Ordinance 1994 (the “Principal Ordinance”) requires the Churchwardens of St Matthew’s Church in the Parish of Eastgardens to promote an ordinance providing for the application of the capital and income from 31 December 1996.

The Standing Committee of the Synod of the Diocese of Sydney Ordains as follows -

Name of Ordinance

1. This ordinance is the Botany/Mascot/Eastlakes Variation of Trusts Ordinance 1994 Amendment Ordinance 1997.

Amendment to the Principal Ordinance

2. The Principal Ordinance is amended as follows -

(a) in clause 3(2) the matter “of the Standing Committee” is deleted and the matter “and the Standing Committee” is inserted instead; and

(b) in clause 4 the matter “31 December 1996" is deleted and the matter “31 December 2001" is inserted instead.
