Final List of Seminars on the GST - GST 6A

1. Seminars on the GST are planned at a number of centres in the Diocese to which ministers, churchwardens, church treasurers and any persons who expect to have responsibility for complying with the GST legislation on behalf of a parish are invited. You may attend any session at any location to meet your own convenience.

2. The seminars will take the form of a presentation by Mr Bruce Nation who is the State Co-Ordinator contracted by Anglicare under a program funded by the GST Start-Up Office. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

3. It is hoped that most parishes will have submitted their application to register for "The New Tax System" to the ATO before attending these meetings. Any questions you might have on the registration process should be addressed to Mr Ken Bowden as indicated on the Circular GST-5. The purpose of these seminars is to advise how you comply with the GST legislation, not how you complete the registration form. The schedule of seminars is -

March 20       7.30 pm       Church Centre, Moombara Street, Dapto

March 21       7.30 pm       St James' Church, Croydon

March 22       7.30 pm       St John's Church, Doonside

March 23       7.30 pm       St Alban's Church, Lindfield

March 24       7.30 pm       St Andrew's Church, Riverwood

April 10         5.30 pm       St Andrew's Cathedral, Chapter House

April 11         7.30 pm       St Stephen's, Bomaderry

April 12         8.00 pm       St Peter's Church, Campbelltown

April 13         7.30 pm       St Stephen's Church, Penrith

May 5           6.00 pm       St Paul's Church, Lithgow.
