Long Title

An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 24 of 1966.

Preamble

Whereas

A. The St Clement’s Mosman Declaration of Trust and Mortgage Ordinance 1966 (the “Principal Ordinance”) authorised the mortgaging of certain property to secure advances from time to time.

B. It is expedient to amend the provisions of the Principal Ordinance which provide for the application of the advances secured by a mortgage granted pursuant to the Principal Ordinance.

The Standing Committee of the Synod of the Diocese of Sydney Ordains as follows -

Name of Ordinance

1. This ordinance is the St Clement’s Mosman Declaration of Trust and Mortgage Ordinance 1966 Amendment Ordinance 1996.

Amendment of the Principal Ordinance

2. The Principal Ordinance is amended by deleting the matter in clause 3(ii) and inserting instead -

“When the power is subsequently exercised, for any purpose determined by the Standing Committee by resolution upon request of the parish council of St Clement’s Mosman.”
