Introduction
SDS' main function is to carry out, perform and provide administrative, secretarial and accountancy services for the Anglican Church in the Diocese of Sydney. Our services include the following:
Parish & Property Services
Our Parish & Property Services division provides a wide range of advice, support and information to parish clergy, parish officers, and the senior clergy who have regional responsibilities for parish work.
Legal Services
Our Legal Services division is responsible for providing legal and secretarial services to Synod and Standing Committee, and a number of other committees that support and further the work of the diocese. Legal Services also provides legal advice and support to senior clergy and parish officers and workers.
Technology
SDS IT provides services such as website hosting and email, procurement, software development and internet communications and telephony, including the DAWN (Diocesan Area Wide Network) pilot. For more information, click here.

Planned Giving
Through Planned Giving, individual supporters of parishes or ministry organisations can contribute via a credit card or bank account. Click here to find out more.
Room Hire and Catering
St Andrew's House Sydney (SDS' head office) has a number of rooms that can be booked for your next meeting or small function. We also provide a range of catering and equipment hire options.

Accounting Services
Our Finance and Accounting division performs a range of accounting, reporting and administrative functions for the Diocesan Endowment, the senior episcopal team, SDS and a large number of other diocesan companies, funds and trusts (including Synod and the Anglican Church Property Trust). Finance & Loans Board
The Finance & Loans Board was established in 1957 to provide certain finances for parochial and other purposes in connection with the Anglican Church of Australia in the Diocese of Sydney.
The role of the Board has evolved into that of lender to parishes for property on an unsecured basis. For more information about the Board and it's role in the mission of the Diocese, click here.
